Account Executive – IT Services & Software Sales (EMEA)

Job Description: 

We are looking for a driven and consultative Account Executive (AE) to lead new business acquisition across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying enterprise opportunities and selling a range of IT professional services, managed services, and software licensing solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of diverse regional markets, procurement cultures, and enterprise technology buying cycles.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Execution:

Drive new client acquisition by promoting IT consulting, managed infrastructure services, and enterprise software.
Build a robust pipeline of enterprise prospects across verticals such as financial services, manufacturing, telecom, energy, and public sector.
Tailor value propositions to regional market needs, regulatory conditions, and technology maturity levels.

 

Client Engagement & Solutioning:

Own the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, discovery, proposal creation, negotiations, and closing.
Conduct high-level conversations with CIOs, IT Directors, and Procurement Heads to position solutions effectively.
Work cross-functionally with delivery leads, presales consultants, and vendor partners to align on custom solutions.

 

Regional Expertise:

Navigate regional regulations (GDPR, local data sovereignty laws, etc.) and adapt service offerings accordingly.
Attend industry events, conferences, and partner forums across the region to enhance visibility and lead generation.

CRM & Reporting:

Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and reporting through tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
Provide market feedback to sales leadership and influence go-to-market strategy.

 

Must-Have

3–7 years of experience in selling IT services or enterprise software in EMEA.
Proven track record of achieving quota in complex, multi-country sales environments.
Familiarity with technologies and ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, Cisco, etc.

 

Preferred:

Multilingual (e.g., English + German, Dutch, Arabic, or French).
Experience selling in regulated industries (e.g., banking, pharma, government).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

Exceptional cultural awareness and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication tailored to C-suite conversations.
Agile, self-starting approach with a passion for navigating large and complex deals.
