Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional and Technical Senior Expert

Job Description: 

We are seeking highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Senior Experts with specialized expertise in both functional and technical domains. The ideal candidates will lead complex implementations, drive process optimization, and architect scalable solutions across various Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., F&O, CE, Business Central). The role requires cross-functional collaboration, deep product knowledge, and strong leadership in both system design and configuration/customization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Expert Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and UAT.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to map business processes to Dynamics 365 capabilities.
Develop functional design documentation, use cases, process flows, and user manuals.
Configure Dynamics 365 applications per client requirements.
Provide guidance on best practices, industry trends, and compliance standards (e.g., IFRS, SOX, GDPR).
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and support go-live and post-implementation activities.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.

 

Technical Expert Responsibilities:

Lead system architecture and customization of Dynamics 365 using X++, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure services, and integrations.
Develop and maintain technical design documents, system interfaces, extensions, and data migration plans.
Manage DevOps pipelines for build and release management.
Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust security models.
Guide developers and perform code reviews ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Integrate Dynamics 365 with third-party systems via APIs, middleware, and custom connectors.

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O, CE, BC, or related platforms).
Proven experience in multiple end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementations.
Proficient in both functional configuration and technical customization.
Expertise in Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and DevOps.
Strong analytical, communication, and project leadership skills.
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Expert, Dynamics 365 Solution Architect) preferred.

 

Preferred Skills:

Experience with global rollouts and multi-entity implementations.
Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, Azure Logic Apps, and AI Builder.
Industry-specific Dynamics experience (e.g., retail, manufacturing, finance).
